We use positive guidance, redirection, and age-appropriate teaching to help children develop self-regulation, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Our goal is to guide behavior with love, patience, and consistency.
Yes. We follow a school-year schedule aligned closely with NISD, including holidays and planned breaks. This supports consistency for families with school-aged children.
We provide a daily rest period for children attending full days, following Texas Minimum Standards. All children are given the opportunity to rest quietly on their mats for a minimum of 30 minutes. If a child does not fall asleep after this rest period, they are offered quiet, calm activities such as books, puzzles, or table activities, while allowing others to continue resting
Because we are a small, mixed-age program (max 6 children), learning is individualized based on each child’s developmental level. Younger children build foundational skills, while older children are gently challenged with early academics, independence, and leadership. Mixed-age learning encourages peer modeling, confidence, and empathy.
